A few things, sometimes you don't want to get out everything in your pantry to make cookies and sometimes your husband is on a diet that keeps you from filling your house with baked goods. These few things aligned on Saturday, along with a craving for a homemade chocolate chip cookie. So, I went hunting for my answer on Pinterest -- banana oatmeal cookies -- we're talking no flour, sugar -- just bananas, oatmeal, and walnuts and chocolate chips. A few months back, I got rid of some overripe bananas with a banana bread recipe and now we have another idea to keep bananas from going to waste.
Here's what you'll need...
1 cup quick cooking oats
3-4 mashed bananas
3/4 cups chocolate chips
3/4 cups chopped walnuts
Let's get started...
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mash your bananas.
